Effective September 2024, CARS™ has adopted the 11th Ed. of the Federal MUTCD guidelines Chapter 2C for setting advisory speeds, sign distances and chevron spacing. These guidelines became effective on January 18, 2024, with a 2-year compliance window from the US FHWA.
